Giorgio Baratti, in collaboration with the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, is pleased to present the exhibition Carlo Bossoli. Homage to Odessa, open until next May 5 in the evocative setting of the Milanese house museum.
Belonging to the Giorgio Baratti Collection, four elegant watercolor views of Odessa by Carlo Bossoli (1815-1884) are shown to the public to pay homage to the history and culture of a city that, while it appeared thriving and cosmopolitan in the 19th century, now continues, like Ukraine as a whole, to be torn by conflict.
Carlo Bossoli. Homage to Odessa thus intends to offer itself as a space for conscious reflection on the serious happenings that are still in the news.
